These teachings provide a unique perspective on scripture. This is mainly because we make a distinction between what the scriptures say, and what people say (Many Christians don't make this distinction). In order to set people free with the truth, we must not rely on non-biblical words, statements, creeds, or cliches. We don't use terminology that is not in the Bible.
