There are things God said, and things God never said.
Many Christians use phrases, words, and clichés that never appear in scripture, not even once. And if not, why not?
Phrases like, “We’re all saved sinners,” “Plead the blood of Jesus,” or “He went home to be with the Lord” may sound Christian, but they are not in the Bible. On the contrary, our Lord Jesus only spoke the word of God. As his followers, shouldn’t we do the same?
